Swn y Gwynt was designed in 1938 by Thomas Simons Attlee, the older brother of former Labour Prime Minister Clement Attlee, for Lady Olive Willis. Lady Willis was the twin sister of Violet Millar who married Clemment Attlee in 1922 and it is reputed that Lord Attlee stayed at Swn y Gwynt on a number of occassions.

A detached residence set in 1/3 acre along a single track private lane within walking distance of Porth Ceiriad beach. Located in a designated area of natural beauty (ANOB) the Llyn Peninsula coastal path passes the gate whilst the local town of Abersoch is just over 2 miles away.

Set in mature gardens with an impressive Macro Carpa, hydrangers and fruit trees. Patio table seating for 6 with parasol and barbeque. The house has two double and one twin bedroom and luxurious bathroom with bath, shower and tiled walls & floors. There is a downstairs cloakroom with 2nd toilet and washbasin on the ground floor. There are sea views from the first floor.

The compact fully fitted kitchen affords De-Deitrich induction hob, Siemens oven, microwave/ over/grill, dishwasher, washing machine and American style fridge/freezer with buit in ice and cold water dispenser. Seating for 6 in the dining area with dark pine table and chairs. In the lounge there is a wood burning stove, leather 3 seater, 2 seater and chair with TV, Video and combined CD/DVD player with amplifier and hi fi speakers. There are wooden effect floors throughout the ground floor and carpets to the stairs, landing and bedrooms. Basic free Sky package is available but I understand you can use your own Sky card (please check with Sky).

There is parking for 2/3 cars in the gravelled drive.

Duvets, pillows,bedding and bath mats are provided and towels can be provided at an extra cost. We appreciate that some people like to bring their own bedding so we offer a discount if bedding is not required.

This self catering holiday home is let Saturday to Saturday. You are required to vacate the property by 10 a.m. on day of departure and keys are available from 4 p.m. on day of arrival. The property is equipped for six, this should not be exceeded. It is available to families and couples only and we regret that we cannot accept pets. Short breaks out of high season and winter terms available upon request. Wireless broadband access is available for your laptop on request (must be requested before visit). Electricity and heating is included in the rates.
